About the song lessons
How do song lessons help you learn English?
Songs repeat useful grammar in a memorable way. Each lesson takes one grammar point the song uses, such as the present perfect, conditionals or reported speech, explains it with the story behind the song, and gives practice exercises with instant feedback.
Are the song lessons free?
Many are. The first songs in each unit, and the first part of each festival series, are free; the others are premium and also include a gamebook in which you play the story yourself.
What levels are the lessons for?
From beginner (A1) to proficiency (C2). Each unit page puts its songs in order from the easiest to the hardest, and every lesson shows its level.
Can I use the lessons with a class?
Yes. The exercises can be answered on each student’s own phone, with the answers revealed when everyone has finished, and every lesson ends with discussion and writing tasks.
