The story

After the old stories of Theseus

Theseus lives in Troezen with his mother, Aethra. His father is Aegeus, the king of Athens. Theseus doesn’t know him.

There is a big rock in Troezen. Under the rock there is a sword and there are sandals. They are from Aegeus. Theseus is strong: he can lift the rock. Now he has a sword.

There are two ways to Athens: the sea and the road. The road is dangerous. Theseus takes the road.

On the road there is a bad man. His name is Periphetes. He has a big bronze club, and he hits people with it. Theseus fights him and takes the club.
